All members are well aware that our Association had already protested the issue under letter No. GS/AIAIASP/Merger/IP-ASP/2013 dated 21/9/2013 and requested Directorate either for withdrawal the mandatory condition of service made essential vide Directorate memo No. 25-02/2001-PE-I dated 9th September 2013 or issue of revised instructions in the interest of the cadre and department. This vital issue was also discussed twice with higher authorities at Directorate and during the course of dialogues it was told that the decision about minimum working experience in Postal / RMS wing by IPs/ASPs before their promotion was taken by the department as per the discussions had in the Head of Circles Conference and lastly it was assured that revised instructions will be issued soon. As there is no improvement in the matter, hence two reminders were issued on 17/10/2013 and 6/1/2014. Now, it is learnt from Directorate that they have called for the views of all CPMsG in the last week before arriving to final decision in the matter.
It is therefore requested to all Circle Secretaries and CHQ Office Bearers to keep the liaison with their circle and ensure submission of proper report/reply to Directorate at the earliest.
